Retired Major, Medical Service Corps, United States Army. Served three years in Viet Nam as medical laboratory technologist. Married in Viet Nam. Returned to US and earned Master of Arts, Central Michigan University in Health Care Administration. Direct commission in US Army and served fifteen years as biomedical information officer. After retirement, earned MBA in Operations Management, St Mary's University of San Antonio. Pioneered computerized mass real property appraisal methodology Bexar County Texas. Achieved Fellow, Life Management Institute, Life Office Management Association. Co-owner and founder of HTL Properties. Data Analyst for Bexar Appraisal District, Harris Health Care System, Telequest Corporation, Verizon Communications, Blue Cross Blue Sheild of Texas, and Citi Group. Married with three children and five grandchildren. Proud parent of new commissioned officer in US Army. Resident of Texas since 1972.
